Read MoreI echo the beautiful memories Ivy Kittle Richmond write of below. The three of us worked together at Community Hospital in the 70's, and Norma was our rock in the nursery! Ivy and I were relatively new RN's, so having Norma as a sidekick was so beneficial to us! I also remember conversations and laughter around her kitchen table. Heaven will be so blessed to have her join them.

I remember Norma as a colleague and a friend. She was the best nursing assistant that ever was, smiling, efficient and the patients loved her. She was a joy to work with. She also taught me to put chilis in with roasting meat to lend flavor, her meals were delicious. She also knew how to cook on a wood stove she and Barney owned which had geodes in the fireplace mantle. My condolences to Barney, Bonnie, Ronny and Terry Lynn.

Sorry for your loss, Ronny. Your Mom gave me a glass of lemonade on a hot summer day while you and your Dad ripped some beams for me 40 years ago. We had a nice chat in the shade while you guys were working away.
