I would like to express my sincere sympathy to Rodney's family for your recent loss. I just today heard of his passing and my heart is heavy from the news.
Rodney and I worked together for many years (Southern Data Systems) and we also shared a great friendship that is not prevalent in today's business environment.
I will never forget the many different hairstyles, his superb taste in clothing (the 'chrome' suit was my favorite) and that obnoxious snorting laugh....

You can not help but smile when you remember Rodney. He always made you laugh when you were down and always had a smile on his face. I worked with him and his presence has been sorely missed. I know he is in a better place than I can even imagine and when I get there, I'm sure that he will be there, still smiling that wonderful smile.

I was a coworker of Rodney's and wanted to post a favorite memory of him. He sat a couple of cubicles over from me. At least once a day, I would happen to glance in his direction, to see him with a big, goofy grin on his face, his blonde hair straight up and his face right up against the glass waving at me. It never failed to make me laugh.
I believe that he is finally at peace. Please know that he was a very sweet person and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. May God...

For your son, Joan.
He was a good man.
I remember. When you looked at me, Rodney, you made me feel like I was the only one in the room. You helped me rediscover things about myself that were all but lost. There were countless moments of great joy and laughter, just as sure as there were oceans of tears. We shared dreams in the quiet of night. Secret glances stolen, that sly grin of yours makes me giggle even still.
Regrets, a few, though I'd mostly not change a...

Joan,
Being a mother myself I know there are not words to comfort you during this time. I do want you to know that there was always laughter in Rodney's heart. He always filled the air with his personality. Rodney would want you to always remember him laughing. He loved you very much and always talked about what you had done for him. He will be missed. I pray for the Lord to comfort you during this time and give you the strength to smile, that is what Rodney would want you to do! May...

I worked with Rodney for about two years. It was always nice to know how much he felt for his family. He always talked about his grandmother and mother, and always about how proud he was of his niece. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family
