Not sure what to say?

Dr. Amos operated on my broken arm, broken in 3 places, in the late 80s. He was such a kind and gentle person and I couldn't have asked for a better doctor. I saw him years later at the Centerville Fair and he shook my hand and said "Hello, young man. How's that arm of yours doing?" I couldn't believe that he remembered me that many years later and after all of the people that he had treated. We are all better from having known him.

Dear Jody,
It is sad to learn of Norm's passing. Norm was one of the truly outstanding colleagues and friends to have had in Battle Creek. What a blast, skiing at Boyne too. My deep sympathy to you and the family.
Sincerly, Jack Hoffmann

Dear Jody and Family, You have our deepest sympathy for the loss of your wonderful husband and father. We remember him well. From South Carolina, Greg and Marlene Burhans

One of his favorite phrases in the OR was "Help the Doctor......" It was always a pleasure to work with him, patient, kind, and he had a great sense of humor. May he rest in peace!

Dear Amos family,
I am so sorry for your loss. David and I spent so much time together when we were young, and Norm was always very generous and kind to me. He encouraged me academically, and even let me watch a knee replacement he performed. He was one of those rare people who gave tremendously to his family, friends, and community. Over the years, I have thought of him fondly and often.

Respectfully,

I had been in a serious motorcycle accident at the age of 17. When I was 18 I was drafted and was going to be sent to Vietnam. Dr. Amos sent a letter to the draft board which detailed the extent of injury to my leg. As a direct result of that letter, I was not accepted into the military. I was able to marry the love of my life and raise two wonderful daughters. I honestly believe that Dr. Amos made a profound difference in the direction of my life, and for that he will always have my love and...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

God bless you Dr. Amos. I enjoyed working with you in surgery at Leila Hospital and Health Center. You were a wonderful surgeon. My sympathy to the family.
