Norman was one of the greatest base players in the this country. He could sing a country song that would make the best stand up and listen. He was one of the nicest, accomadating, and cheerful guys that you will ever meet. He was always willing to help anyone that he could that was more unfortunate than he was. When Norman gets to heaven, If God needs a base player, he'll choose Norman.

Pam -
We don't know one another. Though I used to go listen to Norman sing and joked about being a relative of his, I realize today that he and I were first cousins. His dad, Ralph, was my dad's brother. Norman and I really were related. I read the article in the newspaper last week about Norman's death. It has taken me until today to look at the obituary online. That's when I discovered the relationship. Ralph had two brothers and three sisters. All but possibly one sister are...

Dear Pam,
Iam very sorry to hear of your loss. I met Norman and you 33 years ago at Smuglers Cove and followed the band to many places. People said I looked like Noman and wanted to know if he was my Father, jokingly, he said he was. Now to help you remember me, I was married to Bobby Joe, Clarks old school friend. Norman will be missed but never forgotten. My prayers and heart are with you.

Pam, I am so sorry that I did not know about Norman leaving us going to a better place. I will never forget going to the 1890 when I wasn't even old enough to get in. I always managed to get in every chance I got. I even went to the Gold Nugget in Panama city everytime that he played there. Pam do you remember the shirt you brought me not long ago. It says To Guess My Age Dial 1-800-OLD-FART. I will never forget you or Norman. If their is anything that I can for you Just give me a call. Love...
