NORM WAS MY HERO BROTHER - HE WAS, AND WILL ALWAYS BE MY HERO. HE GAVE ME STRENGTH AND BROTHERLY LOVE AND WISDOM, WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED. NORM IS THE TRUE AMERICAN FRIEND AND WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY THE LEGIONS OF PEOPLE WHO WERE ACQUAINTED WITH HIM. --- HIS LITTLE BROTHER, JARED (JERRY)

I have had the pleasure of knowing Norm & Sharol for 11 years. I have great respect for Norm and will miss him a lot. My condolences to the Backues family.

Norm and Sharol

My condolences to the Backues family. May you have peace during this time of grief. God knows your sorrow and will sustain you. There will be no more sorrow, pain, or death. Isaiah 65:17-25

Norm was a great guy and a good friend. He was also a good competitor; I still bear marks on my back from playing him in racquetball at YMCA. Sharol you have a good support family, always admired your family. The best to you, and may God give you the support that you need.

Norm was my brother-in-law. He was the most kindness and thoughtfulness man I have ever known. Dale and I will miss him dearly. RIP Norm......

As a fellow banker, I had the pleasure of knowing Norm during the MidAmerica Bank days. He was a kind and honest man and I admired his work ethics. I am thankful I was able to know him. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this difficult time. God bless you!
