Not sure what to say?

We will always be grateful for the opportunity of serving a mission in Johannesburg South Africa under the direction of President and Sister Bangerter. We were Senior missionaries and had the opportunity of a lifetime to serve with President Bangerter.

My apologies for this very late entry. Somehow the announcement of his passing missed me.
My husband and I had the privilege of becoming friends with Norm and Colleen as they served as the Mission President of the South Africa Johannesburg Mission. My husband was the Stake Mission President at the time and they had many meetings together and sometimes had to travel together over missionary issues. My son served under him as a missionary for a few months while waiting for his visa to go to...

My husband, Robert O. Brunson and I served as missionaries under Pres. and Sis. Bangerter in So. Africa and felt of his love for the missionaries and the people of Africa. We loved serving with him. When my husband passed away, Feb. 15th 2012, he and is second wife came to the viewing and gave me much love and support. It was a comfort to me. I was unable to attend Pres. Bangerter's funeral as I was in N. Carolina during that period, but my heart was with the family in this time of sorrow. ...

Dear Judy, Adam and Nicole, Blair and Lanae, Ann and Rick, Julie and Jason, Tara and Mike Adams and all other members of the Bangerter Family,

We were shocked and saddened at the sudden passing of your father, grand-father, our neighbor - Brother Bangerter. Your news has reached Australia and we are sad that we cannot be with you at this time. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

We would like to tell you how privileged we were to have met him. Recognizing he was a...

My son Jackson dressed as Russell from the movie UP for Halloween one year, of course we HAD to add the famous "Up House" to our trick-or-treating route. Governor Bangerter, dressed as Mr. Fredrickson, pulled my son aside and made him feel like a million bucks giving him an official Grape Soda pin welcoming him to the Ellie club. The world is always a better place with people who stop to recognize the small things.

We were sorry to hear of Norm's passing. It is hard to think that it was over approximately 37 years ago that he was our stake president. It was interesting to see Adam, as he was just a little kid way back then. Judy you have been in our thought and prayers. I am so glad you have had the last few years with Norm. I know you were happy. Hopefully our paths will cross again. Love Karen and LeGrand Soelberg

He will be missed by the Arlund Thaxton family. He was a great bishop and stake presiden, and great neighbor. We'll miss you Governor!!!

A great yet humble and honest politician, Hard to find those now days. Just an all around good guy. Our condolences to you, Judy, and to to the rest of the family.

Dear Bangerter Family,

Your father and grandfather is and was respected by his peers in state government. Our father always spoke highly of 'Norm' as an honest man of integrity. We were raised with stories of his leadership and work ethic at the capitol and how he did what was right not just what was popular. These are rare qualities in politics today. You were all blessed by the way he lived his live; may you be blessed by his memory.
