Dr. Bass was one of my favorite patients at the lab at Falmouth Hospital. I will miss him dearly. He was a good man with a heart of gold and kind hands. Best wishes to his family. There is no doubt in my mind that he is with our Father in Heaven.

Sorry to hear of this wonderful, caring doctor's passing. I was referred to him and was pleasantly surprised at his bedside manner and follow up phone call. So many specialists treat you as a "case" - not this man. My condolences to the family.

I am saddened to hear of this news. I have known Norm since 1970 when I returned to UVa for Neurology residency. He was a special teacher and mentor for me, but especially he was a friend. I worked with him in his lab for a year, and he was a critical reason I went into research and academic neurology.
