Not sure what to say?

Dear Jim Pantaleno, Thank you for the kind words (I just found this website today). Yes, my dad was a Supervisor of Continuing Education for the NYC Board of Education and his district was in Brooklyn. The summer day camps were within his domain. He loved that job.

Dear Peter Schectman, Thank you. Your dad was a dear friend of my father. In our family, we KNEW the name of the player who scored the first basket in NBA history! :)

If this is the Norman Drucker who ran Morrison Day Camp at JHS 73 in Brooklyn, I want to extend my condolences. I attended that camp for several years and the activities and programs there meant a lot to me, and I'm sure other kids felt the same. A good man...may he rest in peace.

on behalf of the schectman family...he will be missed,
definite favorite of my dad, ossie....sincerely, peter schectman
