NORMAN E. ELBIN, age 85. Beloved husband of the late Karen (nee Fournier); father of Ray (Lisa), Norm Jr. (Patricia), Marty (Val), Daniel (deceased), Bill, Sharon Donnelly (Dennis), Kim FitzGerald (Mike), Bob (Chris) and Rich (Maxie); grandfather of Scott, Zach and Jacob Elbin, Julianne, Sarah, Jacquelyn and Brendan Elbin, Lindsey and Drew Elbin, Brady and Max Elbin, Kate, Ryan and Jack Donnelly, Bridget Boyea, Colleen, Erin, Brian and Jack FitzGerald, Sean Elbin, and Rylan and Rory Elbin; great-grandfather of Callie, Landon and Beckett Boyea; brother of Marcy Fabbro (the late Reece), Glenda White (Bill) and John (Carole); brother-in-law of Julie and Don Dzuban; uncle and friend of many.


Norm was a graduate of West High School and served in the Ohio National Guard. He had a soft heart for animals, whether his own or a stray, and was a big fan of dessert.  Norm was affectionately known as "gpa" to his grandchildren and their spouses who spent Sundays with him watching the Browns or a race, taking him to Indians games, playing cards or just visiting for a couple of hours.


Passed away April 20, 2020. All services private for family. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the A.P.L, 1729 Willey Ave. Cleveland, OH 44113 or to the Northeast Ohio SPCA, 9555 Brookpark Rd. Parma, OH 44129.
