Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Norman. I was very close friends with his daughter, Erin, before she was killed. Although I did not get to know him, he wrote me a letter of gratitude after I spoke about her at the memorial service at our middle school. I remember Erin going to spend weekends with him. She would write me notes and put them in my school locker when she came back to San Diego. That tragedy impacted my life so deeply, and still does. I have been wanting to reach out...

Grandma,
I love you very much. I miss him just as much as you do. Together, we can stay strong and fight our way thru this. I will miss him more than anything. So many memories have been with him. I just keep reminding myself he is in a better place looking over us and keeping us close. He is out of pain and is happy again and thats all i can ask for. I know that he is watching over me and i am going to make him and you proud. I love you so much Grandma and i cant wait to see you...

Dear Ellermann family,
we would like to extend our deepest condolences. Dr. Ellermann meant a lot to our father and family. My father first met Dr. Ellermann when he took our oldest sister for an eye exam, as a referral from our local, public school. In 1971 my father had an eye accident and Dr. Ellermann performed his surgery. Then Dr. Ellerman offered our father a landscaping job which he gladly worked for over 20 years. Dr. Ellerman is considered an honorable person and a stand up...

Dear Brita,

All my love and thoughts to you at this time. I will miss Norm very much.

Love Al.

Dear Brita,I'm very sorry to hear of Dr Ellermann's passing this a.m. It had been years since our paths crossed when I was doing interior landscaping; taking care of your office plants each week for many years! It truly was a pleasure to see Dr., yourself and the other staff members each week. Dr. was always a gentle and caring man and I looked forward to seeing him at each visit! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

To The Ellermann Family,

We are so sorry to learn of Dr. Ellerman's passing. Our prayers and sincerest condolences go out to all of The Ellermann Family. We have known Dr. Ellermann since moving in to the 3001 Tahquitz Canyon building back in January, 1992. What a kind and caring gentleman. He will always be remembered as a man of his word.

Kindest regards,

Darryl and Beverly Mirsky

Norm was a good man who quietly touched many lives in our community. Just last night, before we learned of his passing in this morning's paper, my wife and I were talking about him and a kindness that he had showed to us many years ago. Our hearts go out to his dear family---please know that we are praying for you, and asking God to comfort you during this difficult time. As the Scriptures say: "Therefore the redeemed of the Lord will enter Heaven...sorrow and sighing will flee away, and...
