Read MoreNorman and I just had lunch about 2 months ago here around Yale. He was such a wonderful friend and Yalie. His death comes as an absolute shock, especially as he seemed so healthy and happy when we last saw one another. We'll miss him so, so much.

Norman has been a friend for most of my life - since the early days at March School, my class at college, and then neighbor on Porter Street in the mid 60s. I shall miss him!
