Sorry to hear of Coach´s passing. He was such a good person and coach. I have only fond memories of him as a coach, teacher, and friend. Went arrow head hunting a few times and of course he took us to U of I to watch high school state tournament. Coach was always a good example of what teaching and coaching should be. I will keep all his family in my thoughts and prayers.

Just happened to learn of Norm´s death from Georgia (Brown) Vinson who read it in yesterday´s Pantagraph...you and your family are in my prayers. He certainly had a very fruitful life and will be long remembered. ...ruthetta

Valued friend and coaching associate, Norm was always willing to do what was necessary to make life better for the athletes he coached. He was a positive part of the athletic program at East and of the coaches he coached with. His contributions helped to shape the school that East is today.

A great role model as father and educator and husband. My mind´s eye sees a kind and smiling man who will be missed. Celebrate a life well lived.
