Belated sympathy to the Fisher Family.

Norman congratulating Young Strings cellist Richmond Green

Norman was a true advocate for children and music in Dallas. His leadership within Dallas ISD and the greater Dallas community continues to bear fruit. As Education Director for the Dallas Symphony, I personally witnessed the thoughtful and caring determination which Norman brought to bear on behalf of Dallas children, particularly those for whom playing an instrument seemed a dream that was out of reach.

He was a valuable and respected member of the DSO's Young Stings Advisory Board...

May you all find comfort in Gods promises during this time of sorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Family,
Sorry for your loss. We went o Bishop College together.

My condolences to the family. Mr. Fisher was a well respected man and teacher I had the privilege to have been one of his students class of 1985. His impact on the student body of LHS was significant. He carried himself always with dignity and respect by this he showed body how we should carry ourselves as well. May God comfort you all during times of bereavement.

I worked with Norman as a DISD orchestra director. Norman was a kind and hard working man, who was loved and respected by his colleagues. We could always count on him going to fight for us and supporting us in teaching kids in Dallas. I have a lot of fond memories of Norman over the years-all of them great. Like Duke Ellington would say: "we loved him madly!"

My condolences to the Fisher family and friends.

Our 0rayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

To the family of Norman Fisher, Jr.: Please know that I am saddened to hear of Norman's passing. He and I were classmates who graduated from Gibbons High School in 1965. My sincere condolences are extended to his immediate family, his brother (and our fellow classmate, Raymond) and the entire Fisher family. May God continue to bless and strengthen you. My sincere condolences to the family for your loss. May your treasured memories and the drawing close to God in prayer help comfort you in your time of sorrow. Jeremiah 29:12, 13
