We loved Norm. It was always entertaining to visit with him. Steven learned so much from working for him and is always quoting him. "That´s what we did at Norm´s." We will miss him. Prayers for all his family. He was a legend. Liz Stelling

Dear Barb, It was announced in church Saturday night of your father's passing. I am so very sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest condolences. May he rest in peace.

Norm & l crossed paths my entire adult life. He was a hard working envisionary, motivater & mentor (a real down to earth organizer & dooer) that never lost touch with his family,GOD & community! I feel Ablessed to have been able to spend time with Norm sharing many stories tending to his sweet tooth & just watching his garden grow! I come to love the old dude!!! As for Barb & the family; you all were better than the best to & for Norm! He will rest in peace!

He was a great father as well, just look at his children. All of whom are very successful in their own right. You know, people talk about mentors, he was definitely one of mine. I remember him taking Mike and me to a get rich seminar in St. Louis. The seminar was titled "work smart not hard". We both got the just of...

Norm was a true Belleville legend and a lovely man.

I first met Norm when I started working at Sears in 1975. I remember him being referred to as Stormin Norman & High Pockets by his coworkers in automotive. I met my husband, Dick at Sears also. Norm was Dick's first boss at the Sears Farm store right out of high school. I remember Dick telling stories of float trips they went on and also a trip to Vegas. In his younger days Dick would help Norm with his auctions. After Dick retired, he took Norm to various places to pick up fruits &...
