Norman Giddan

Am sitting here in Al´s chair missing Al so much and also his friendship with Norman, which probably began when they were both on the staff at the Counseling Center at Stanford around 1962. Norman was really Al´s best friend always. Because we didn´t live close to Norman and Jane we rarely saw them, but Norman was a pillar of strength for me in a crisis we had with our son at Kenyon College in Ohio. I remember Norm as a colleague at the Medical College of Ohio and the University of Toledo. He was a well-respected psychologist and faculty member as well as a "Mensch." R.I.P Norm, you made a difference and had a life well-lived.
