Not sure what to say?

How could Norm ever be forgotten? With Love, Lynn

Years have passed since my friend Norm has passed, yet he is and will always be in my thoughts.

Norm was my best male friend for over 50 years. Often I think of him and it is always with a smile and love which was always returned to me.

Until we meet again

An amazing man. He was our gym teacher from 1967 through 1972. He was a whistleblower, for sure, but in the good sense of the word. A gentleman who made all kids in his class feel important; whether a gifted athlete or stricken with polio; whether fit and trim or overweight. Always in good spirits, we used to fight to get a spot in his extra gym club in 8th grade. My 3 brothers and I are saddened by this news. We wish the family the best and thank you for sharing him with us....bless...

It is with great comfort and pride that I have read your messages. Each and everyone who took the time out of their day to say something nice about Norm touched my heart. Thank you students, teachers, friends and family your words were special.

Very Sorry to learn of Norm's passing. He was a excellent administrator. I can remember one time I had an after hours question about one of his students and he knew chapter and verse all the details on that student. It was not just that one pupil but all of them. This was Norm's standard and I am afraid it may not be what is practiced today. My Condolences to you.

Herbert Massa, Assistant Superintendent,retired, HTBOE

As an itinerant teacher when I began my career in Howell, I always felt LOP was the crown jewel of the district. Norm was undoubtedly one of those bright lights. A remarkably kind, sincere and the ultimate professional, he will be missed. Heartfelt condolences to the entire family.

Someone mentioned the whistling in the halls and I was flooded with wonderful memories of Mr. Greenberg. He was a gentleman and a gentle man who remained a wonderful friend to my parents after my mom retired.
