Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to learn of the death of Norman Hetrick. I had worked with him on several decedents' estates over the years. My deepest sympathy to his family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

It is very pleasing to read how well polished the many facets of this diamond of a man were. Reflecting on life at Penn 45 years ago one is not surprised of Norm's exemplar legacy. My condolences to the family. Your loss is shared by many.

To Norm's Family,

I met Norm at Penn. It's not very often when you meet a very unique person who you immediately know and think, "Wow, this person is truly special." It just emanates from them. From the first day I met Norm, I knew he was one of those few special people. Norm just had that something that drew people to him and you just knew he had a special heart and spirit. I wasn't surprised to read all of the wonderful comments about Norm: I wouldn't have expected anything...

Dear Frances Sue Hetrick and family,

I am so saddened to hear of Norm's death. He was so active at Pennsylvania and gave so much time to the Class of 1965. I too graduated in 1965 and I will miss him at reunions when I attend. He was a wonderful man and kept in contact with so many Pennsylvanians. You have my deep condolences.

With sadness in my heart, I learned the news today of Norm's death. I knew Norm since childhood days and we always keep in touch over the years. I remember Norm especailly for his kindness and attention paid to my mother in her last years in Harrisburg. Norm was most generous, a friend to all, and a person of the highest integrity. Although we lived miles apart, Norm was always in my mind - and I will carry with me forever memories of our younger days together. My deepest sympathy to Sue...

I remember Norm well as he and I were responsible for the PR for our school, Lower Paxton Jr. H.S. We wrote articles for the Patriot News about events at our school, and we also spoke about these events on a local radio station on Saturdays. We knew each other well through high school. Norm was a fine person for whom I had great respect. From the Patriot News article about him I see that he was a man of integrity and surely a very wonderful husband and father. I send you my sincere sympathy...

Maura, Joanne and I are saddened by the news of Norman's death. We have known Norm and enjoyed his company at Beaver Run for ...35+ years...He will be fondly remembered by his colleagues and fellow club members as a gentleman, a sportsman, and a role model. His contributions are numerous and our fond memories of Norm and his spirit will live on. I trust the Hetricks will continue to consider The Beaver Run Club as a home away from home, and keep the Hetrick family legacy alive there. ...

As an employee at HZEP in the early 90's, I was very proud to have known Norm - what a kind man he was.
