I had Mr. Norman for typing and shorthand and also have known him many years. He will be missed but he is Sheltered in the Arms of God and singing and playing for Jesus.

To the Hines family,
A true gentleman has gone home to his reward in glory. May God hold you in His Hands and provide the grace and peace that only He can provide. Once a Bulldog always a Bulldog! I was so sorry to learn of the passing of my high school teacher and friend. He was a mentor to me in so many ways and helped steer me in the right direction. My prayer is this: May our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, cradled him in His loving arms and wipe the furrows of pain from his brow with His nail-scared hands and grant to him His eternal peace. May those who loved him find comfort in this knowledge as they walk down that long, dark Road of Grief into the Light.

Mr. Hines was a wonderful Teacher, Counselor and Friend. I owe so much to him as one of his former bookkeeping students. When he would come in the office he would catch up on the latest happenings of his former students and our families. He loved Dixon and its student population and we returned that love.

Sad to hear the death of Mr Hines, always happy to see him when visiting Holly Ridge, he was my typing teacher ,liked his humor
