Not sure what to say?

Remembering Norm with a smile and dry sense of humor!!

I just read this on-line and I feel compelled to respond. I worked with Norm for five years (1988-1993) at Black and Webster Plastics. How I love this guy! He taught me sooo much and became my friend an confidante. He called me just before Christmas in 2014 and, truthfully, it made my Christmas. I would love to spend just one more day with Norm and Toni!

Dear Houghton Family,
Jack and I were very sorry to hear about Norm's passing. For the last few years Norm would call us up around Christmas time and chat with us . We really enjoyed catching up with him and your family. We will miss these chats .He was a very kind and gentle man .
Love to all the family,
Barbara and Jack Aghassi

I was sadden to hear of Mr. Houghton's passing. Great memories remain of John and the guys hitting the neighborhood swimming pool circuit on many a hot summer day and/or night. Of course, among them was the Houghton's pool.

My sincere condolences on your loss. I remember a lot of good times at the Houghton house as a kid and Norm was always a part of it.

I grew up across the street from the Houghtons and my parents still live there. Mr. Houghton was such a kind and gentle man. He and his wife were always ready with a wave and a hello and would be quick to help anyone in the neighborhood. I'm saddened to hear of his passing and my condolences to his family. I know they will celebrate what a wonderful person he was and take care of each other at this difficult time.

My deepest Sympathy at your loss. My prayers are for you and your family to know the comfort that God gives to those who grieve. May he bless you at this time

After 66 years of continuing friendship, visitations, dinners, days by the pool, skiing, days at the beach and in the mountains with you and Toni and sometimes with family, has been a big part of our lives. We thank you for sharing it with us. We will miss you for now and look forward to seeing soon in your heavenly life. Love Ray & Rita (Ruel) Laurion
