Dr. Johnson was my GP as I grew up in Pasadena from age 7 or so until I was a university student.... When I decided I wanted to be a physician as a student at USC, I went to see him to talk about what it was like to be a doctor...I was inspired by his encouragement. He was both a great doctor and great man. I still think about him often as he was my first role model of what a physician should be like. Caring, available, thoughtful and a good friend to all. I have quoted him numerous times...
