Not sure what to say?

How do you say goodby to a friend. He always had something to say to keep you sane and laughing. I'll remember his snoring, his laugh and always wanting to know if I was full yet. I'll remember my purse full of junk after a night out with friends. I'll remember his love for Merilee and how they loved to go to Reno and all the fun at their beach house. I remember all of the golf and how much Jeff teased him. But most of all how much he was loved and now missed by his friend Linda

You only need to read his daughters entries to know what a great guy Norm was. He was my champion at a time in my life when I needed one and I am forever grateful to my big brother, Norm.

My father Norm was a very special man. If you knew him I'm sure you agree he was truly one of a kind. He taught me so many things. I know that fathers love their children equally, but celebrate their individuality. I know what a Trifecta is and the difference between placing a bet to show or win. And it is ok to pick your greyhound dog not by its stats but by its silly name. I know that the game of golf is not that complex of a game, but the man who plays it almost certainly is. I know that...

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss of Norm. He and I had lots of fun together in the late 50's when we competed with and against each other in a classic traveling bowling league. He was a spectacular athlete and very competitive. It was a very rare occasion when I bested him on the lanes, but I always made him work for his victories! When he went on to Madison and I to Grant, it was great to be able to say I knew and was once buddies with Madison's great pitcher: Norm...

I love my dad, for with out him I wouldn’t be the woman I am today. He was always my rock and my hero. I will miss him for the rest of my life. I will remember him as a man who loved taking me and my sister swimming and taking us to the dog track. He had a great sense of humor, answering the phone on occasion like this, "Gerty's Girdle Shop, Stretch speaking". He was man enjoyed an occasional beer, and as others have said, loved golf. The only thing he loved more than golf was his...

Norm and I grew up together at Madison high school and played baseball together. He had a tremendous sense of humor and loved to play practical jokes. I still remember his favorite BQ apron that brough a laugh to everyone he showed it to. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting his family since we have not seen each other in 50 years.

My sympathy goes out to his family,
