Norman Louis Larson

To all of Norm's family,

I just received news of Norm's passing from another 1956 GUHS graduate, Bill Hougen. I remember Norm, from our years at GUHS, as a great guy...pretty much the friendly, likeable and normal 'kid next door'. I appreciated the long obituary detailing much of Norm's life...it gave me a picture of the fullness of his professional and private lives as an adult. It seems you have much to be proud of and many memories to sustain you through the years ahead. ...

Nan. I just heard from Bob Yokoyama about Norm's passing. I unfortunately am out of town Friday and will miss the service.
I have been sitting here thinking of how Norm was such an encourager to a fresh out of college rookie when we worked together at East Portland. Norm was willing to take time with me a show me so many things to help me out.....I was always amazed at how patient he was even though I thought I knew it all. (once in a while he reminded me that I didn't)
