Not sure what to say?

Dear Pam and David:
I was upset to see that Mr. Norman passed away. Pam, as you know, I had known him for a very long time as you know. He was a very good guy and a great policeman.

Dear Aunt Esther, Pam and Loustalot family,

I just wanted to let you all know how sorry I am at the passing of Uncle Norman. He was a wonderfully funny man with a great personality. He was always ready with a good story or joke. I will never forget him and am glad and blessed to have known him. I am sorry that I couldn't be with you, but know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Jodi
