Not sure what to say?

From the first day I arrived at the McCallie School as a slight, introverted boy from Mobile who was far from home, Mac took me under his wing and made the whole experience better than it could have been. In talking with one of my few friends from that time, I am beginning to suspect that Mac protected me more than I ever knew! He was the consummate southern gentleman and a great friend to many!! It was good to reconnect with Mac again when he was an Elder at Spring Hill Presbyterian. I...

Norman,
Sorry to hear of the passing of your father. Praying for you and your family during this time of sorrow.

Mack was a wonderful neighbor who always welcomed my intrusions in his "shop" to "shoot the bull". And Nonie was a delightful "practice grandkid" for Carolyn and I. So sorry for your loss, Dorsey & family.

A True Southern Gentleman and long time friend to our family. My sincere condolences for the loss of Mac. May Prayers strengthen you and memories comfort you, and may our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loves us, comfort your hearts and make you firm

Mr. McInnis created the most beautiful bonds for his children. Their affection for each other is so obvious and precious. It can be so hard to build a loving and harmonious family... he is a master architect there. They give that love freely and without expectation. What a fine example and inspiration you are, Papa McInnis. My beloved friends Harrison, Bailey, Collins, and Dandy will certainly always look to your spirit for guidance and peace.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

To say the least I'll miss Mac in a big way as both a neighbor and a friend. He was always in an upbeat frame of mind whistling throughout the entire day. I'll also remember Mac as an incredible teacher when it came to wood working.
My heartfelt sympathy to his family. May he rest in peace.
