MCKAY FAMILY

The loss of Pops remains heavy on my heart. I remember still the good old days and they are bittersweet...

For you, Dad! Hard to believe it's been 10 years. Hope you're tapping your feet to this old song of ours. ;) Love you! Norman Jr.

Miss you Gramps!

Great site! Keep up the wonderful work.

Happy 70th Birthday, Dad!

Well, I just got back home from sprucing up your turf with beautiful flowers, a long stemmed red rose and a Birthday Balloon!
(a day early I know...)

Company ready!
I hope you get a lot of visitors!

For those who don't get a chance to go up to visit with you, they can check out your Birthday goodies from your website: www.forheavensakesnorman.com. It's also on your other pages:...

Well, Dad...
It's been one year since you passed away so peacefully in my arms.
It feels like just last night.

Since that time, I've been trying to find peace with it all...sometimes I write in my diary where I'm at or where I think I'm at in the grieving process and came across one of my most treasured gifts you gave me.

To learn.

It was like bells going off everywhere!!

What did I "learn" from my Dad?

...

To the McKay Family,--I have never read such loving tributes to anyone. You were truly Blessed to have Mickey, and he, to have this magnificent family to love and honor him. I went to Cleveland with Mickey, Class of '51. I watched him play ball, and what a pitcher he was!!! Even then, he was a "gentle giant", in every sense of the word, - a true gentleman.
Visited with my cousin, Phil Isernio, today,(fellow South Park resident and Cleveland teammate, Class of '50), who told me of...

Happy Father's Day, Dad!!

Well, I hope you like the new simplified marker I made for you today!
Looks very cool from here!
For those who would like to check it out, it's on Dad's website-here's a link to the marker page:

I tell ya, it's been tough for weeks, listening to all the ways you can spoil your Dad for Father's Day.
It was pretty hard for me, let me tell ya.
I...

Happy Birthday, Dad!

What a lovely day, for you today!
I hope you like the flowers we brought for you! Colorful, vibrant...just like you!

I'm so glad I got your pillow made for you and comforting to know you'll have it with you forever!

I'm also really glad I got to teach you a thing or two on the "puter". You caught on REAL fast! I was impressed! ...and you kept wanting to learn more, especially with pictures! We both love pictures and love to reminisce...
