My father suffered from male pattern baldness since his early 20s, back in the early 1930's. He had hair transplants from Dr. Orentreich in 1959, and his transplanted hair grew through the rest of his life. A true miracle, brought to us by Dr. Orentreich.
My good friend, who trained in dermatology at NYU Medical Center, told me that everyone there knew and admired Dr. Orentreich.
My condolences to his family, reinforcing the memory that he helped so many people. A truly great human being

We loved Dr Norman and think of him often. He was instrumental in shaping my skin health with total facial dermabrasion. It was the thing that gave me the amazing skin that I now have at eighty one years of age. My husband Henry had hair transplants that renewed his youthful looks.

While Dr. Orentreich was a pioneer and a great dermatologist,he was an even better person. What an exceptional life he led! My sympathies to his family.
