Not sure what to say?

May God bless your beautiful soul, and it warms my heart to know you will definitely rest in peace.

Norman was one of the kindest friends a person could ever meet. His quiet chuckles, interest in what was being said to him, his humor, and his gentlemanly manner were a "lift to one's spirits". Always wanting to know about the other person, he looked with concentration at you as you spoke. We were fascinated by his flying stories, but now become aware of his intense modesty as we read of his numerous accomplishments and honors. How our world would benefit from the love given, concern for,...

Such a Wonderful Person with such a warm and caring smile. He was an inspiration to us all. I know that he will be at peace with his Beloved Wife, where this is no suffering. My sincere condolences to his family.

What an amazing long life well lived! You were certainly a truly special man. I know Mrs. Anne was there at those pearly gates waiting for you! Prayers to all family and friends!

Norm Palmer was a special person in so many ways....we served together for 5 years at Langley AFB and remained friends since I retired in 1990. So typical of the WW2 Greatest Generation, he never spoke of his exploits and combat sorties in the P-47. He was well loved and respected on the TAC comptroller staff, and Anne and Norm were active participants in organizational events well after retirement. The TAC family provided close to 100 cards to recognize his 99th birthday in Nov. Norm was...

We’ve lost a great man, a wonderful friend and a true American hero. Just think of the love and joy he’s feeling now in perfect unity with his Savior and his beautiful bride Anne. I will never forget this amazing gentle man who lifted up everyone around him at every encounter. We were truly blessed to have known him and call him our friend.

That was a beautiful and thoughtful obituary. He was a prominent member of the greatest generation. A southern gentleman with a warm heart and ready smile to make you feel at home. He had great stories to tell but always wanted to hear about yours. He will be missed.

Norman was such a tremendous role model. He was a oving husband and father. A true southern gentleman. He was a man who left this world better because he was a part of it. As my Father-in-law, I always considered him as a father and a friend. He made me a better person as I learned from his quiet but wise example. I will miss him but will continue to love and cherish his presence. Godspeed on your final flight home, Norman.
