Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of knowing and working for Norman from 1986-1989. I met him through earning my GED.... His wife Lee introduced me to him and he hired me when I graduated. I loved them both and will miss them dearly. My job with Norman Rosenfield architect was office assistant or porter. I made copies of Blue prints, mylars and sepias. I also ran errands and made bank deposits for the company. I also stripped, cleaned and repaired and replaced maylines for straight edges along with filing...

I have been out of touch with Norman for the last several years. Norman Rosenfeld first hired me in 1978 as an intern Architect. I am deeply saddened to have just recently learned of his passing. He was a great Architect and person who appreciated jobs well done and instilled a pride in doing good work which I have endeavored to maintain throughout my professional career. Norman was a gentleman who cared about people. I will miss meeting him at the Contractor holiday parties we attended. He...

I just learned of Norman's passing, and have to add my words of praise for this great man. I first met him 25 years ago on a NYC project, and had the good fortune of working with him on many subsequent endeavors. A true gentleman, a skilled designer, and faithful confidant. Deepest sympathies to all his family and friends.

I remember Norman as a very descent man who always wanted to contribute more than take. A real mensch.

Our condolences to Norman's family. I cannot say enough about how important Norman was to my architectural career, firm and family. I learned his name from an IBM project that I worked on in the late 1980's. I met Norman when I attended one of his healthcare design seminars at the PDC, a national conference that we both regularly attended. He mentored me in healthcare design, and encouraged me to join him in becoming a founding member of the American College of Healthcare Architects. His...

I will miss my loyal friend.

Norman, at one of our completed projects in Manhattan

In memory of a smart, tough partner in architecture -- who devoted his life to the development of great healthcare design. He was a well-rounded, good man, that is, simply, a mensch.

So many fond memories of wonderful times with the "Rosies" for more than 50 years. A mensch who, with dear Lee, were early role models on how to care for family and friends. I will miss his humor, intellect and kindness.
Much love to Marion and Josh and their families,
'Auntie' Marcia
