Read MoreSo sorry to hear of Mr. Schuiling's passing. He was my 10th grade math teacher but also became a mentor and friend. He was friendly, dedicated, humorous and interested in his students. I don't remember him without a smile. Condolences to his family. I know he will be missed.

Mr. Schuiling was my teacher in 8th, 9th and 10th grades. In 8th grade he was my home room, my English and my math teacher. Then he and I reached high school at the same time and he taught us Algebra and Geometry (covering 1957-1960). He was one of my favorites. I liked him and math, probably because of him. A really wonderful teacher.
