Norm was an unbelievable leader. I had the honor to watch him in action while working in Washington, DC. His insight was always how a project would affect the Coast Guard in the future, not necessary at the present. He is truly missed.

Norm, you were one of the best Commanding Officers I had the pleasure of serving with, once at AirFac Norfolk and again at AirSta Elizabeth City. Your tireless research absolved the the fateful E-2 aircrew of wrong doing and squarely placed the blame where it belonged. God bless.

So sorry for the family's loss. No words can ever express the loss of a loved one. May all of you find comfort and peace in all the loving memories you've shared together. Please be comforted in knowing that God understands your grief and he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:6,7)
