Not sure what to say?

Norm was my psychology professor at Loyola University in 1986. He and I always had very lively discussions and, sometimes arguments. He was one of the most intelligent and interesting people I've known in my life and I was sad to hear of his passing.

You are still in my memory, Norm. So many things we shared. Can't believe it's been 15 years since you've passed. John Newbauer

I just now learned about Norman's passing from the Loyola Magazine! How sad. I don't like to think of the world without Norman in it. Norman was a fellow student and adjunct faculty at Loyola - and he always had a wonderful insight or anecdote to share. He was a gem.

I will miss Norman Silverman dearly. He was my professor and my friend. He would come into my food store..L'Appetito almost every day. We would chat for a bit in Italian..then off he would go..getting his coffee and muffin. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

Norman was a great friend of ours for more than 30 years. His wit, intelligence and love of art and fine wines made him a great companion. We will always miss him.

I received word of Norman's passing late. I will miss him. He was such a breath of fresh air - always skeptical, always fond of learning new things, always humorous (well, almost always), and a loving, kind human being. We will miss him at Adler School and in the Adlerian community at large. Rest in peace!

I will remember him for his wit, his sharp tongue, and love of Adler. He was a wonderful teacher and human being.

So sorry to learn of Norman's passing. We enjoyed being in his company socially and regularly these past couple years. He was entertaining, shared knowledge on many subjects and had good wit.

So sorry to hear about your loss but take comfort in knowing that we can see our loved ones again in the promised resurrection.
