SMITH Norman G., 65, of Wilmington, NC on June 13, 2009. Beloved husband of Maryanne (Wood) Smith. Loving father to Mark Kenneth Smith of Wilmington, NC, Jeffrey Brian of Lauderhil, Florida and Sandra Beverly Congdon of Seattle, Washington. He is also survived by five grandchildren. He is predeceased by one brother Joel Smith and one sister Sandra Beverly Smith.Mr. Smith was born in Paterson and lived in North Haledon then Riverdale before moving to North Carolina seven years ago. Mr. Smith was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a construction worker for Laborers Local 592 in Edgewater for 40 years.Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Friday at 12:30 PM. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
