Norman Spector

I'm so glad to have gotten to know my uncle Norman over the past few years. I got to share his 80th birthday, some Thanksgivings, and even a Chanukah. He loved my blueberry muffins (mostly blueberries), and split pea soup, I made for him for every visit. I always enjoyed his company and loved to hear him talk about so many things--even his eclectic musical taste. I found out he was in the Army, which I never even knew about. I once talked him into playing his keyboard, which he did by ear. He...

He gave me my love of music, even though it wasn't intentional. Late night visits to my family's home with large pizzas and the latest LPs from Sam goodies.
Also his lovely piano playing all of which he learned by ear. He had a wonderful sense of humor and could laugh in the darkest of times.
