Not sure what to say?

Dr. Thompson diagnosed my family with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia or (MEN), a rare genetic mutation that allows tumors to form on the pituitary, the parathyroids, and the pancreas. Upon having my entire pancreas removed, I decided to develop a non-profit for MEN. I met with Dr. Thompson and he not only remembered our family, but was very encouraging about me starting a non profit for MEN. It is called American Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Support or www.AMENSupport.org I spoke with Dr....

Dr. Thompson operated on me in 1994 after my thyroid cancer came back after six years. He comforted me with his surgical skills, caring bedside manner, and his great personality. Follow up visits were always fun, if you can believe that. We always talked about good books we had read. I loved Mary, his assistant. They made a great team. I am sorry for your loss and extend my deepest condolences to your family. I will miss knowing he is part of our world.

My thyroidectomy performed by Dr. Thompson was 18 years ago yesterday. I am so saddened to hear of his passing. I liked him immediately upon meeting him and I knew I was in very capable, accomplished hands. He calmed my fears and was so patient with my questions. I was able to bear two healthy, beautiful children and have had no health issues since. May God bless Dr. Thompson and his family. I will forever be grateful for his skill, expertise and kindness.

My condolences to the Thompson Family. I was one of Dr. Norman Thompson's very first patients and had my Thyroidectomy in 1979 at the age of 17. My younger brother had his surgery in 1980. He saved my life. He was the kindest human being who I greatly admired and knew I was in great care. I am so sorry to here he has passed. I take great pride in having known the top U.S. Endocrinologist who performed my surgery which resulted in me having a fully successful life. Peace & comfort to his...

Dr. Thompson operated on me twice, in my early 20's and late 30's , and I will be forever grateful for having such a brilliant surgeon!! I believe in my heart that I would not have the life I have if it had not been for him taking an interest in MEN1. Thank you Dr. Thompson, you will be forever in my heart.

Bless Norm, and all best wishes to his family at this moment in time. I was a rookie hospital administrator in 1974 and Norm was gracious and helpful beyond expectations. Wonderful human being.

May our good and gracious God bless the memory of Dr. Thompson forever.

Marcia, the profession and society have lost a truly fine man. He was an icon in his field but I'll always remember him as just a great guy. Our sincere condolences to you and your family. Vince and Ellen Cimmino
