I'm holding in hand a letter Andy wrote to me while he was overseas with the 1st Cav Div. Andy and I went to my brother's wedding together and once we went flying in a small plane in from his home in Michigan. All this about 1969 time frame.

I met Andy through Associated Design as a customer. I can't recall knowing anyone that could match his artistic talents and skills. He was a patient master designer whose goal was perfection and beauty. My home is filled with his skill and a constant reminder of him and his expertise. Quiet and reserved but intense and dedicated to his trade and efforts. He will be sorely missed by everyone he touched.

Andy was the nicest guy you could ever meet. I knew him when working at Associated Design. He was such a soft spoken man, but always interesting to talk to. It was so surprising when he told me he always went to Burning Man. I didn't know much about it, but when I read about it, it seemed a perfect event for Andy. And he was always faithful about taking his birthday off; I couldn't schedule anything on his special day. I know how happy he was when he met Tatjana and when his children...
