Norm and I worked together at our first job in New York City at Railway leasing. We both went to Pace University at the same time and he suggested I go to Fordham when he was attending, which I did. I worked at Chase Manhattan Bank before moving West to Seattle when we lost track of each other. I think of our early years at Railway and always wondered how Norm was doing. He was a very caring and motivating professor who explained how the job market truly works including downsizing to make room for a new infusion of younger workers in major corporations. He was very practical and a realist. Professor was a very popular and well liked by the students on the Pace University campus located near Park Row in lower Manhattan.
