To the Cadieux Family: I had the privilege of working with Ron at Shawmut Bank while I went to school ... Rob was a class act, always the perfect gentleman and someone that I respected. My sincerest condolences- JM.

Amen to all the others who have already acknowledged the wonderful obituary you wrote where you have chosen to share your father with all of us. Your "pen and heart" where so very much in the right place during this time of grieve for your dad. Paul A. Bergeron SMSgt. (USAF) retired.

A heartfelt thank you for your service to our country. Rest in peace.

What a beautiful tribute to your Dad, whom I did not know - but felt I did, after reading about his well-lived life. May his memory be a blessing to you and your loved ones.

I also worked with your Dad at Shawmut Bank, he was a very nice man. I am sorry for your loss, what a beautiful tribute you wrote.

Scott, you have written a beautiful tribute to your dad, I'm sure he's smiling and quite proud of you. I remember the day I met Ron back in the 70's, I went into Shawmut to apply for a job, he is the one I spoke with and he hired me. Always such a kind and pleasant guy and reading about his kinship with animals I guess that's a reason why we got along so well, I am a lifelong dog lover and often mentioned my dogs to him. There too few nice people in this world and now another is missing. ...

Condolences: I had the pleasure of working with Ron when I first entered banking in the late 60's and we managed to bump into each other now and then after he retired. It is a pleasure to have called him a friend. John Lilly

I worked with your Dad at Shawmut. The good ole days! One of the true gentleman bankers. He made work fun. When ATMs came into the picture, we made many road trips in the area troubleshooting. Always laughing in our travels. Always talking about you, your Mom and house projects. Gail Goraj

I had the pleasure of working with your dad at the Shamet bank many years ago. He was an outstanding person who I will never forget.
