Not sure what to say?

Very touching to look back on these messages, with lots of time having passed. Thanks to those who left thoughts. My dad was quite intelligent and ambitious. He rose from below humble beginnings to business success. He had high standards, a loud piercing laugh, and a temper. He really did know everything, even before google!

The most thoughtful person I ever worked for.

Norris was a brilliant engineer and as Chairman of the Board of Hekimian Laboratories he was also widely known for his integrity. Norris was the best employer I ever had. Norris was a very generous person who treated everyone fairly and as a member of his extended family. I learned much working with him. He will be greatly missed and always remembered by those who knew him. My most sincere condolences and prayers go out to the family.

The best of all the employers I've ever had the opportunity to work for. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He was a very kind and understanding person. It was a real privilege working for him. Although he may be gone, he will never be forgotten.

The entries in this Guest Book are moving testaments to Dr. Hekimian's personal and professional generosity. He gave so much of his time and resources to so many people, both personally and through the Phase Foundation, which he and his family established to make our community a better place. While he will be greatly missed, I hope it is of some comfort to his family to know that his kindness and giving spirit will live on in the good works of the Foundation. My thoughts and prayers are...

I started with HLI when the company was in a garage on Stonestreet Ave. I was just out of school and was fortunate and proud to have known Dr. Hekimian and the entire team that he led. My prayers are with his family.

Norris was my mentor in Page Communications' Wisconsin Avenue R & D Lab many years ago. He was a brilliant engineer, a world-class teacher and the best boss ever. I will surely miss seeing him at the Page Reunions and will always cherish the memories of my too-brief association with him. I'm greatly saddened by his loss and my deepest condolences go out to his family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Norris and the Family. He was a man of integrity in business, engineering, and his personal life. He demanded much but gave much. He checked your work and expected you to check his work - witnessed and understood. I learnned much from Norris, not all of it engineering. I remember the softball games and ping-pong in the basement of his home. It was an honor and a privledge to work at his side.
