Not sure what to say?

We just found out about Norval today 4-21-24, from Bill & Mary... We were sooo very sorry to hear about Norval. He was such a nice man... Please know all of you are in our thoughts & prayers... Take care... Mary & Herb

Norval was absolutely the best! He took care of us at our family business, Olson Plumbing & Heating Co. for decades. Whether at IGP or General Air, Norval took care of business and of us. He would stop by the shop every week to check on us and make sure everything was going the way it should. We missed seeing him after he retired.....his kind of genuine customer care is a thing of the past. RIP Norval and prayers for the Hurst family.

Norv and I kept in touch as Sharon will tell you. My Kids grew up with him. He always cracked them up. I'll miss you. God Bless his soul.Much love,Kathy

Norval was the ultimate customer advocate. He certainly lived by the motto - If you take care of the customer, the customer will take care of you. Norval was genuine, never knew a stranger, and always had that great positive attitude. I will miss the warm smile, his firm handshake and his often query. Do you remember--------? Jack Dammann

Please join us for a memorial service April 19th, 2024, 2p at the Evergreen Cemetery Chapel on the Evergreen Cemetery grounds 1005 Hancock Expressway Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

Sharon and family, I am so very saddened to hear of Norval's passing. I worked with Norval at IGP and he was such a nice person and always such a happy guy! My heart goes out to you.

Prayers are with the entire family, and the thoughts are muddled right now, however the memories will last forever. The good times when we all would go to Cripple Creek for the day, and a good meal, and sharing our experiences there, 9 times out of 10 Norv was the big winner. The past 30 Thanksgivings we were privileged to be a part of the Hurst family for the big meal, and of course the football games. In return we were very fortunate to have Norv & Sharon to our place in the country...

Norval was a great people person. I think he knew everyone that worked at every shop in town and he liked to keep track of folks, making sure they were okay. He truly loved his work and was a staunch advocate for his customers, sometimes putting him at odds with his boss. Norval would ask me if I remembered someone from when we worked together at IGP and then he would proceed to tell me the latest story about them. His heart was filled with kindness. He will be missed.

I had the pleasure of working very closely with Norval around 2003 when he joined our family business. Norval was loved by his customers because there wasn't a single thing he wouldn't do to serve them. I can remember that he used to say that he got more done before sunlight (o-dark-thirty) than most salespeople did in an entire day, which was 100% true! It was a pleasure and honor to work alongside Norval. My deepest condolences to the Hurst family.
