Not sure what to say?

I was just thinking about Nowell today, and remembering that it will be a year ago tomorrow that he died. I know it will be a sad time for his family and friends. But, just think of all of the beautiful artwork that he is providing in Heaven.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Love, Mary Alice

I was fortunate to know Nowlie as the good looking kid in the house across the street. He was really a gentle spirit and a gifted artist. When I got older I would run into him with my Dad (who had a real soft spot for him) at the Rainbow where we would share a conversation over a beer. His passing brings back a flood of memories of when Vincent Ave. was arched in Elm Trees and all the homes were filled with kids. My sympathies to his family and all who knew him.

Kevin and I knew "Nolie" from Al's Bar in St. Louis Park. He was such a wonderful person and friend. A beautiful gem in a raw world. We were blessed to have known him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Nolie's family and loved ones. May God ease your pain quickly. We will cherish our memories of him.

I first met Nowell in grade school, we went to Lake Harriet together. I am deeply saddened by his passing, my prayers are with his family. This to me is a reminder of just how important it is to live life to it`s fullest, because there may not be a tomorrow. God Bless the Zumberges.

To my dear second family, The Zumberge's:

I have such fond memories of my 10 years as neighbors on Vincent Ave., and of "hanging out" at your house.Thank you for letting me be your "Third Daughter", and for the joy of having my "adopted siblings", Nancy, Jay, Nikki, and Nowell. What fun we...
