NUBAR DERHAGOPIAN

In 1941, I met Nubar in the fourth grade at the Hillside Elementary School in Medford .We went through all of the school grades together, and not a day passed when I did not see him. When we weren´t hanging out with nearly a dozen other friends on nearby Dearborn Street, our gang usually loitered at his father´s corner store. Truly we were the best of friends. We played together, fought occasionally, vacationed together in Cape Cod and Hampton Beach, and even shared an interest in the same...
