My prayers and sympathy goes out to my husband (Cedric)as well as the entire Brookins family. I think of daddy (O.D.) and it brings to mind last 4th of July 2005, when he was given recognition for being the oldest of the brookins and was given a chance to speak as he recieved his award. He said to me "daughter-in-law walk me up there". I am sadden to hear of your lost, I am a classmate of Oswald and O.D and my father worked at Texas Steel and I met O.D. many years ago as a young kid working at Carswell AFB hospital and over all of these years I have always remembered a kind and wonderful person.
