Uncle O.D., Mia and I will truly miss you. You were always a 'REAL Uncle' to me and for that,I will always hold a special place in my heart for you.Tiesha,Victor, Cedric,Carl,& Aunt Mae Ruth, Be strong and stay in prayer and GOD will surely bring you through.

I would like to say God bless the family and friends of this precious family member whom has decided to rest in the bosom of God. King Jesus welcomed him with open arms.

My prayers and sympathy goes out to my husband (Cedric)as well as the entire Brookins family. I think of daddy (O.D.) and it brings to mind last 4th of July 2005, when he was given recognition for being the oldest of the brookins and was given a chance to speak as he recieved his award. He said to me "daughter-in-law walk me up there". I am sadden to hear of your lost, I am a classmate of Oswald and O.D and my father worked at Texas Steel and I met O.D. many years ago as a young kid working at Carswell AFB hospital and over all of these years I have always remembered a kind and wonderful person. It is my prayer that God grants the entire Brookins family peace, strength and endurance through this most difficult time, God bless all of you.
