Walker, O'Neal "Neal" David
91, resident of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on April 3, 2011. Neal was born on February 10, 1920 in Bennington, Oklahoma to Charley and Josie (Faulkner) Walker. Neal joined the military in 1942, during his military service, he met and married his wife, Iola. Neal enjoyed softball, in his earlier days, church activities, hunting, fishing, sight seeing and spending quality time with family and friends. Neal worked for the Phoenix Union High School District as an electrition and carpenter before his retirement. Neal is prceeded in death by his parents, 6 of 8 siblings and his wife of 67years, Iola. He is survived by his son Warren (Livi) Walker, daughter Linda (Bill) Hill, 4grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 2 brothers and dozens of nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. held at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N 27th Ave in Phoenix. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made, in Neal's name, to Youth Outdoors Unlimited, Inc. 320 S. 40th Place, Phoenix, Arizona 85034. For additional information visit www.greenwoodmemorylawn.com
