O. Nelson Lewis

My Mother is a first cousin. And named for Nelson and Rusty's Mother. We looked so forward to Nelson's annual Christmas card and letter describing his project. I remember his Mother Harriett Goodin Lewis very well. So sad to learn of his passing. Prayers

Nelson will truly be missed. He was a great inventor and loved making things. His smile and laugh are something that would stick with you. I think Nelson enjoyed sharing his treasures and helping those that he knew. I'll miss going to his house and marveling at all of his creations. Even at 90 his mind was fully there and I was amazed at how he could remember everything and his will to continue on. I was hoping that someday I would be able to help him finish his birch canoe.
