Not sure what to say?

Mr. Bill,
You will be greatly missed, especially during the holidays. You brightened our holidays with your smile, stories and choices of wine. Thank you for teaching us what to drink!! We toasted you in Italy with real Italian wine. Salute!! and see you in heaven.

Bill,
Good, faithful friends are hard to come by and you were one of the best. I greatly admired your courage regardless of what life sent your way, and I thought of you often as a role model in this regard. Thanks for the memories, both tangible and intangible. You will be sorely missed!

Chief, you were an inspiration to me; no matter what life threw at you, you were always out there making the best of it. I can't express how much I appreciate the help and guidance you gave me in my woodworking and the effort you put into your work for me- the toybox, the cradle for my daughter, and countless others. In fact, I was using both the old lathe and the joiner you gave me- the ones I felt guilty for accepting because I knew how much they were worth and didn't think I'd use them...

I'm sorry I couldn't travel to be at Chief's sendoff, but he'll be sadly missed over here as well as in central PA. I cherish the projects he made for me, and the great iron gargoyle bookends he brought to life with his dubious yet highly entertaining story of their origin. I'll even miss all the computer questions he implanted into my dad's head while they were out "conspiring"! Best wishes to Amy, Nancy, and everyone else left behind.

ONLY MAN I EVER KNEW WHO WOULD ACTUALLY KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR YOU. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER AND CHERISH HIS FRIENDSHIP AND GUIDENCE.

The Chief was my first post Vietnam, Vietnam vet friend. Seeing him or thinking about him always brought memories. I felt connected to him. He is an icon!

Dad:

You taught me the joys of art.

You taught me that sandwiches are truly beautiful things.

You taught me that being kind is an easy thing to do.

You taught me how to make the perfect martini.

You taught me fishing is always a good way to spend a day.

You taught me onions, garlic and butter are joys to behold.

You showed me that a one eyed fat man can make the most wonderful things from...
