Felt so sad when reading today about President Ames death. I remember him and Louise so well from 1976-77, the year I returned to CC to complete my degree. He was always so kind to me whenever I saw him on campus. He will be mourned in the hearts of many who knew and loved him. My deepest sympathy to you Louise and the rest of his family. May good memories and much love sustain you during this time.

I am so sorry for your loss. May you receive strength and comfort from God. "He will make you firm, he will make you strong, he will firmly ground you." - 1Peter 5:10

A lovely, lovely man. Made my time at Connecticut College very special. Sending light and love.
