Not sure what to say?

The human part of us says that Octavia was taken too soon. I often wonder what she would be doing right now. She was blessed with beautiful eyes and an amazing smile. They both made you feel so safe, so special when she came your way. Although she was here a short time, she left a legacy of love.

Cynthia, Not only did Octavia have a lovely smile but she also had amazing eyes. Those amazing eyes would look out to see others in need of a hug or an encouraging word. She's not gone from our lives because of the warm memories of who and what she was-an amazing and impactful person. You gave birth to an amazing person. I pray for your continued strength.

Cynthia, Those on the outside looking in say things like, "Time heals." "I know how you feel." We say these things because we don't know what to say. Octavia was a remarkable young lady who was loaned to us for a "designed" period of time. She walked with grace and poise. She had the beautiful gift of smile. Because she wore a smile, those who came in contact with her also wore a smile. I miscarried a chid but I could never compare that to your loss. Time has passed and you know that she's...

When I first saw her, she was so quiet and unassuming. Who knew what was behind those spectacles? Octavia had such a beautiful, respectful and giving spirit about herself. From afar and up close, she was a sweet and loving person. I remember being pleasantly surprised on an occasion when she was on program to speak/sing during a Youth Church program. Thats when I knew that she would be a perfect Youth secretary. When she went off to college, I found that she was irreplaceable. Once you got...

She was a very nice and loving person in high school. My prayers are with her family.

Cynthia,

When Tatie first came to live with me, Octavia was one of the first people outside of the family that she allowed into her world. Every Sunday, she would seek Octavia out. She had to be held and hugged by her before we left church. She was so sad when Octavia went off to school. The last time Octavia came home, Tatie was in one of her moods and wouldn't go to her. Octavia pretended her feelings were hurt. But over the years, they had come to know each other. Last Saturday...

I might be alittle late, but when i heard the news I started writing. Octavia will be missed I love you so much my friend.REST IN PEACE!!!!You were always happy, but when you weren't I made sure I sung you a song to change all that..Aldine Sr. high School 2009..mention my name to God for me..

Rest in peace, Octavia. You touched many people's hearts in this life and left a long trail of joy. To the family: pain may throw your heart to the ground but love from God turns everything around; keep peace in your hearts.
