To the Barnes family, I am sending my deepest sympathy to your family. I heard my "father the "late" Herman Henderson talk about "Uncle Oddie" I think I even met him as a child years ago, but seeing that my father talked so highly of him, I knew I had to offer my condolences. Take care and remember all of the special things that Uncle Oddie has taught each and everyone that was blessed to have known him. 101 years "young" now that had to be a man with knowlege, So his teachings here on earth...

I will always remember Mr. Barnes' big smile and his kind and encouraging words. He will be deeply missed.

To all of my family:

May God continue to bless you, and keep you safe during this time of sadness.

I thank the Lord that I was able to see everyone at Uncle Oddie's 100th birthday celebration. For me it was a family reunion. I pray that we all continue to keep in touch and remain close.

All of you may not remember me, but I am on the Francis side of the family. I'm sure my father: may he rest in peace: Herman Henderson is smiling alongside Uncle Oddie in...

To Mrs. Barnes and family, we have been deeply saddened to learn of the home going of Deacon Barnes, but we also rejoice in knowing that his suffering on this side is over and he is resting with Jesus ever to rejoice. Please know for certain that we are praying for you. We will miss "Mr. Oddie" Sincerely with our deepest Sympathies, Dea. William (Al) and Min. Connie Gammon

"Little Doug" is what you use to always call me. You also use to tell me my looks will never change. I've looked the same since I was a little boy. I tell everyone who surrounds me that we have a "genetic curse" of slow aging for the simple fact that you don't look your age. You...

Our sympathies goes out to the family, may you find peace in knowing that God is near, lean on Him. Ray & Linda Hill
