Dear Odell, I never imagined life with you being there. Laughing, smiling, showing how much you cared. The night I found out you passed away, my heart dropped and the tears began to fall. I will miss you, your smile, jokes and your compassion. Thank you for 30 years of laughter.
Love, your niece

Odell, Where do I begin? It's been a few days now since your homegoing service and it still hasn't sunk in. I keep thinking this is a bad dream and I'll wake up from it soon. You have always been my #1 uncle... Very funny and kind. Always giving to anybody who was in need. I have so many funny memories of you that I find myself laughing and crying at the same time. I know you suffered during the last few weeks, and my heart is glad you finally found peace in heaven. ...

Every once in a while, you cross paths with a person that will stay in your heart and mind forever. Odell is that type of person. Odell was one of the fellows of Marshall town Terrace. In high school he was affectionately know as Barry White. He will be truly missed. To Cookie and the Davis family has we would say to Odell, One ticket please. Rev. JJ Jones traveling from the east to west back to the east.

ONE DAY
ONE DAY WE WERE TOGETHER, AND THE NEXT DAY I WAS GONE.
DIDNT REALLY HAVE TIME TO KEEP TRACK OF THE WRONG.
ONE DAY YOU SAW MY SMILE, BUT IT WAS GONE AFTER A WHILE.
ONE DAY I WAS IN PAIN,BUT THE LORD SAW FIT OF AN ANGEL TO GAIN.
ONE DAY MY HEALTH WAS A FACTOR, BUT THAT'S THE END OF THAT CHAPTER.
ONE DAY YOU WERE IN TEARS,BUT ALL I CAN HEAR ARE ARE CHEERS.
SO DRY YOUR EYES LOVE ONES
,FOR THE LORD'S BATTLE WAS WON....
LOVE JACQUELYN (MICHELLE) AND FAMILY.......
