Words cannot express how much I admired Sis. Odessa Jackson. She will be greatest missed. Not too many musicians still teach anthems and hymns in the Black Baptist Church. When I was a child, Sis. Jackson taught songs of “HOLINESS" that ushers in the Holy Spirit, whether the younger generation wanted to hear them or not. The Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church family has lost a bright light and faithful witness for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My mother and the Jacksons were neighbors...
